For an out-of-the-box teambuilding activity, the new A2D2 Cirque Centre can train staffers in the fundamentals of aerial cirque. Run by sisters Julie Danaylov and Elisa and Samantha DeAngelis of entertainment company A2D2, the Lakeview facility specializes in aerial, acrobatic, and fitness classes. For corporate groups, the instructors include activities for a range of physical abilities, such as basic aerial hoop skills and aerial conditioning, dance, and cirque makeup application. The company says the physical nature of the workshops can help foster trust, communication, and cooperation, while allowing participants to attempt aerial feats they may have never imagined trying. The workshops are available for groups up to 12 and start at $100 per person.
