Cleo Spa and Salon, the flagship of Cleo Jung's growing spa empire, opened last week in the residential Trump Place on the Upper West Side. (Jung also has locations in Gramercy Park, Chelsea, and White Plains, and next year plans to open a Cleo Spa in TriBeCa.) Accented with warm colors and natural materials like wood and stone, the Zen-like space takes up 5,000 square feet on the ground floor and has 26-foot-high ceilings. Two wall installations from Korean artist Ran Hwang—colorful pieces made of buttons attached to the wall with pins—provide eye-catching decor. In addition to facials, manicures, and pedicures, the spa also offers a variety of massage services and hair styling. Cleo Spa and Salon is available for group buyouts; bookings for events that don't involve spa treatments are taken on a case-by-case basis.
