We got some details on the Charlie Palmer Hotel going up in Las Vegas. The Aureole chef’s latest project will open one block off the Las Vegas Boulevard strip in 2008. Klai Juba will design the 35-story non-gaming boutique hotel and Adam Tihany will oversee the sleek and modern interior design, which takes its decor cues from local topography. The hotel will feature 400 rooms as well as a nightclub, cigar bar, and lounge, and a large event space will anchor the top floor. Express check-in bypasses the traditional front desk model (think valet parking for you and your bags with each bellman carrying his own PDA) and a 24-hour concierge and personalized sommelier are on call. Three new Charlie Palmer concept restaurants will be on site, including Palmer’s first foray into sushi served in a Tihany-designed space cantilevered in the multi-story atrium.
