The Silverlake Conservatory of Music will host a fund-raising concert on Wednesday, with Metallica and Scars on Broadway performing at the Wiltern. Attendance at the fairly intimate event will be limited to 2,200 guests, and 100 percent of ticket sales ($200 for general admission or $500 for V.I.P.) will go to the conservatory. Evolutionary Media Group is overseeing publicity and marketing.
Wednesday's concert will be a one-off event, with the conservatory's annual Hullabaloo benefit concert happening in the fall. Last year, the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed (an appropriate choice, since Flea is a conservatory cofounder).
