Groups on the lookout for intimate, interactive cooking classes with an emphasis on teambuilding have a new option in Cookology—a 2,000-square-foot recreational cooking school and retail kitchenware store that opened this month in the Dulles Town Center Mall. Students create various dishes—a soufflé, for example—with the aid of a staff chef and the input of a behavioral psychologist who offers feedback on the interaction of the group. In the kitchen, green-technology induction burners and convection ovens speed classes along while using less energy. Classes range from $65 to $150 per person.
