To complement its presence at the International Home & Housewares show, which took over McCormick Place from March 6 to 8, filtered-water-bottle-maker Bobble hosted a one-year anniversary party for its product at Trump International Hotel & Tower on Sunday night.
Models sported tees with saucy slogans such as "Squeeze my Bobbles" and "I Want to Filter You Up," and servers circulated with water-filled Bobbles. (Stiffer drinks were available at the open bar). A birthday-party theme meant confetti, ubiquitous balloons, and a live birthday serenade from a mariachi band. As the musicians played, servers wheeled in a giant candlelit cake from Amy Beck Cake Design, shaped like the product of honor.
