Just For Laughs Festival Partners to Introduce Comedy Conference

Just For Laughs, the world’s premier comedy event, is hosting the first World Comedy Conference at its 2008 festival in Montreal. Achilles Media Ltd. of Toronto, who also manages the Banff World Television Festival is producing this first-ever “comedy marketplace” that is expected to draw more than 1000 international television, film and new media professionals dedicated to promoting the business of comedy. Dates of the 2008 Festival are yet to be announced.

Banff National Park's natural beauty is undoubtedly its main draw—as are its three world-class ski resorts. Established in 1885, it is Canada's oldest national park.
