The Piatoni family, which has run La Bruschetta on St. Clair West for the past 29 years, is now offering private cooking classes for groups of as many as 25 people. Programs can be tailored to accommodate corporate teambuilding functions and social events. In addition, the restaurant offers six set menus for the two-hour sessions, taught on location at the eatery. Each menu includes an appetizer, main course, and dessert plus a pairing of wine, flavoured martini, or dessert wine. Lessons include dishes such as stewed mussels with roasted garlic; veal topped with spinach, smoked provolone cheese, and proscuitto; and classic Italian desserts including tiramisu and panna cotta. Prices start at $75 per person.
