New Hires for Great Performances, Strategic, Shadow, and Lisa Lori

Great Performances founder and C.E.O. Liz Neumark announced today that the catering company is taking on two Tentation Potel & Chabot alums. As he hinted to us back in December, Nicholas Daeppen has been named director of sales, while John Wyatt has been named senior event director.

Former managing director of the now-dissolved Tentation, Daeppen will manage the sale of all Great Performances events—from corporate and social affairs to galas, openings, and movie premieres. Wyatt spent the past eight years as Tentation's senior event director, producing such high-profile events as the Imperia North American launch and the Wildlife Conservation Society gala. In his new role, he will aim to grow Great Performances' fashion and luxury client list.In other news, Strategic Group has hired Rebecca Chase as an event producer. Chase most recently served as general manager at RentQuest, where she worked for six years. In her new role, she will aid Strategic's event production team, which is presumably recovering from back-to-back events during the Super Bowl in Arizona and the NBA All-Star Game weekend in New Orleans.

The ever-growing Shadow PR, founded less than a year ago by Brad Zeifman and Lisette Sand-Fredman, has named Liza Bychkov as director. Formerly associate vice president of fashion and beauty at Susan Blond Inc., Bychkov oversaw national publicity campaigns for brands such as the Sports Club L.A. and for personalities including Damien Fahey and Marc Ecko. In her new role, Bychkov will head up publicity and events for the firm's fashion and beauty department, working with brands like Intermix and Armani Exchange.

In addition to relocating to Greenwich, Connecticut, Lisa Lori Communications has also named Lisa Rivera as a senior account executive. Formerly at Kao Brands, where she repped brands such as Jergens and Curel, Rivera will now be responsible for beauty, fashion, and retail accounts.
