BOSTON: The Beehive hosts a vocal tribute to American composer George Gershwin Sunday.
Could there be a new food trend in Boston? We've heard of slow-cooked food, but Back Deck is now offering slow-grilled fare including slow-grilled chicken with mustard seed roasted potatoes. The venue hosts meetings and private events.

CINCINNATI: Horseshoe Cincinnati from Rock Gaming and Caesars Entertainment will open March 4. The $400 million downtown casino will have 33,000 square feet of flexible banquet space, including two large configurable venues divisible into as many as 11 individual rooms. The largest venue is the 19,000-square-foot Horseshoe Ballroom, which has the capacity for nearly 2,000 guests.
LAS VEGAS: The center-Strip resort formerly known as Imperial Palace will officially begin operating as the Quad Resort & Casino Friday, with renovation plans scheduled for completion by late 2013.
LOS ANGELES: Epiphone and Monster Energy Drink will sponsor the second annual Rock & Roll Roast comedy series Monday at the Grove in Anaheim with proceeds benefiting MusiCares.
