Emily Herr
Earlier this month, the Chicago Dance and Music Alliance, a member services and advocacy organization for dance and music organizations, named Emily Herr as executive director. In her new role, Herr is responsible for producing a 100-attendee annual meeting as well as 10 to 15 smaller networking functions and performance showcases throughout the year.
Formerly, Herr held a position as programming director for Looptopia, and has worked with Lookingglass Theatre Company, Jam Theatricals, and Time Out Chicago. She has seven years of experience planning events.
