On Wednesday night, local PR folks and members of the media headed to the Paris Club to fete something pink, French, and bubbly. To unveil Dom Pérignon Luminous Rosé Rose Vintage 2000, brand reps planned an evening with a cabaret theme.

"The cabaret universe embodies the Dom Pérignon Rosé spirit in its mix of seduction, provocation, and timelessness," said regional marketing manager of the central region for Dom Pérignon and Moët & Chandon Peggy Lanigan, who took thematic direction from the Dom Pérignon maison in France.

After sipping champagne and plucking French hors d'oeurves from trays decorated with mini Eiffel Towers, guests were treated to a cabaret performance that that took place at the center of the lounge. Wearing top hats, silky black leotards, and plenty of red lipstick, performers from Dance Chicago did a brief number in front of a backdrop of glowing champagne bottles. "Dom Pérignon Rosé is the most daring expression of the brand, and the [event's] cabaret nod brought a sense of intimacy and exclusivity," Lanigan said.
