A dance segment in the fashion show served as an activation for Kinect for Xbox 360, a controller-free entertainment system that will be released in the fall.

At the entrance to the after-party, guests posed at a Patron-sponsored photo booth. "The entrance was black-and-white, and then guests turned around and were submerged in a land of color," said Frost designer Dennis Remer. "It was kind of like The Wizard of Oz."

In the archive area, "It was all about pink branches and surreal horticulture," Remer said. He added that several guests used the branches as a backdrop for photos and, "It was cool to see that element being utilized that way."

In each space, video elements were projected onto walls to set the tone and theme of that area.

Corporate sponsors got branded lounges. In the OfficeMax area, designed by Bungalow Six, balls of rubber bands filled a glass champagne bar.

Frost designed the American Express lounge, which incorporated the company's signature blue and had "a forest-like, Avatar feel," Remer said.

Another sponsor, Rockstar Energy Drink, brought in plenty of product samples.
