Both new to West Town, these eateries offer private dining for groups.
1. Billed as a "gastro-tavern," Frontier opened in late January. The multilevel venue has a western-saloon-inspired look replete with a stuffed grizzly bear, and can be bought out for groups of 350. At the chef's table, which seats eight to 12, groups can sample spit-roasted whole animals including goat, pig, lamb, and boar; sides include sweet potato puree, campfire marshmallows, and wilted dandelion greens. This spring, a 2,500-square-foot beer garden will open and host alfresco functions for 100.
2. Leopold took over the former Relax lounge space in December. The Belgian eatery, which seats 98, serves moules and frites, steak tartare, and house-made veal sausage. The bar offers small-batch Belgian beers. At the front of the space, a lounge decked with stained-glass windows seats 22. Tucked into a nook at the back, a semiprivate dining area seats 10.
