Every four years, the Summer Olympics gather the best athletes from around the world. Fans like to gather to watch the games. For those who are planning a gathering, big or small, here's a look at the best bars, rooftops, and private rooms to host viewing parties in Chicago.
The Anthem

Located in Wicker Park, The Anthem features two massive projectors and four 50-inch TVs. During the Olympics, the bar will be outfitted in Olympic-themed dรฉcor with the Olympic flag and a fake Olympic torch hanging inside. Olympic trivia games will be held throughout the Games, with the winners awarded medals.

Market

A sports bar with a classic American menu, Market features a private space with two 46-inch TVs, its own bar, and private restrooms. The second-floor private space has a total capacity of 100 and can seat 50. Four TVs with hook-ups to laptops are also available. An Olympic opening ceremony viewing party will be held on the roof with details such as flags, temporary tattoos, and Olympic drinks named after athletes, like the Phelps Speedo and Jenner 10.

WestEnd

A 5,000-square-foot, upscale, neighborhood bar near the United Center, WestEnd Bar & Grill boasts 33 high-definition flat-screen TVs and a 30-stool bar. While cheering on their favorite athletes, guests can consider their own fitness and order low-calorie summer drinks such as Voli Collins, Pamplona Sangria, and Diet Creamsicle.

The Pony

The Pony, a bilevel bar in Lakeview, offers 16 flat-screen TVs including seven personal TVs on the first floor's high-backed chocolate-brown leather booths. Upstairs, a custom-built bar, cranberry walls, leather booths, and eight flat-screen TVs can accommodate a private party for as many as 100 people. Olympics coverage will be shown on the personal TVs downstairs.

Frontier

A Western-saloon-inspired bar, Frontier features two HD projectors and 28 flat-screen TVs, which will be broadcast the Olympic games. The multilevel venue can be bought out for groups of 350.
