Nearly 350 bikini-clad ladies headed to Nikki Beach on South Beach for Cosmopolitan magazine's inaugural Bikini Bash last Friday. By arranging participants on the beach to spell out "COSMO" for an aerial picture, the magazine set out to break the Guinness World Record for the largest bikini photo. Beach balls, umbrellas, surfboards, and activity tents-including a temporary tattoo and massage station-throughout the property held the logos of event sponsors Nivea and Old Navy. Though the record was not broken in the end, the unconventional aerial picture, taken by Pulitzer Prize winner Vincent Laforet, will be printed in the mag's August issue.
