Max Muscle, an authority in sports nutrition and supplements, opened its first South Florida location in Miami in last month. Ron Meijerink, regional director of the new store, asked Maria Maloof of Maria Maloof Events to help launch the event. Her theme? "Maximize Your Superhero Potential.""I wanted something that was visually appealing and [would] gain attention," she said. Since Max Muscle sells products that get people in shape, Maloof made the parking lot in front of the store runway ready for—what else?—a hot body contest. In fact, she found nine hot, fit, and trim bodies from several gyms around the city for Body Paint by CJ/Drawing on People to paint as popular heroes including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Spider-Girl, Catwoman, Batman, Captain America, Spider-Man, and The Punisher.
The winner received $1,000 worth of Max Muscle products while all other contestants got $250 worth. And the guests? They got plenty of eye candy and free product samples.
