Appellation Lodi – Wine & Roses Resort and Spa

In May, culinary-driven hotel brand Appellation will unveil Appellation Lodi – Wine & Roses Resort and Spa. This marks the first operating property for Appellation, as the brand transforms and takes over the beloved Wine & Roses wine country retreat. The hotel will continue to welcome guests for stays, dining, and spa experiences during the phased renovation, which is expected to be conducted through late spring. The property features six venue spaces spanning 7,000 square feet, including the Garden Ballroom and lush gardens. The resort can host events for up to 350 guests, with catering from new on-site restaurant Americana House, which sources ingredients from the resort’s own culinary gardens, in addition to local farms and vineyards. Property enhancements also include newly manicured outdoor spaces, from charming patios with outdoor fireplaces to more than 6,000 square feet of lawn turf.

Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley

The minds behind luxury brand 1 Hotels are also behind Treehouse Hotels, which describes itself as a "carefree, nostalgic" brand offering more laid-back experiences. This month, Treehouse opened its third location and first in the U.S.: Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley. Located in Sunnyvale, Calif., the property features 111 guest rooms (with plans to expand to 254) and Valley Goat, a restaurant led by Stephanie Izard, a James Beard Award-winning chef and the first woman to win Top Chef. The design of the hotel is inspired by Sunnyvale's agricultural roots, as it was once a place covered in vast apricot orchards, fields of grapes, fig trees, and wild pastures. To honor this, the grounds have been planted with hundreds of native oaks, redwoods, and fruit trees, alongside more than 20,000 plants. Treehouse Silicon Valley can also accommodate a variety of gatherings. It offers more than 7,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, including the Marigold Boardroom, The Vale, and the showstopping glass barn.
