Here's a closer look at San Francisco's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated San Francisco-area venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
Silverado Resort
In February, Silverado Resort, a landmark resort in the heart of Napa Valley, put the finishing touches on a $1.5 million renovation of 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space. This includes new paint, wallpaper, art, carpeting, lighting, and furnishings in the ballroom, conference and meeting rooms, and prefunction areas. Under the direction of interior design firm SFA Design, the revamped spaces now have an aesthetic inspired by the surrounding Napa landscape, which is known for rolling green hills, soft earth tones, and rows of green vines. In the re-imagined Silverado Ballroom—spanning 5,160 square feet for up to 400 guests—expect plush Axminster carpeting in a dramatic feather pattern, neutral-hued millwork, and bright crystal chandeliers. The Royal Oak space (pictured) offers a similar carpet, expansive windows, and a brighter paint color.

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto
In March, Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto announced the completion of the highly anticipated renovations to its luxury and presidential suites. These newly re-imagined spaces aim to evoke contemporary elegance and residential comfort with a natural color palette, earth tones, and soothing hues that complement mountain views visible through floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests of the presidential and luxury suites can enjoy premium amenities like fresh flower arrangements, daily linen and bedding service, VIP fruit and water, a personalized welcome amenity, handcrafted sweets, special suite slippers, round-trip airport transportation, and other unique gifts. The hotel offers more than 15,000 square feet of event space for groups up to 200.

Cultivar Ghirardelli Square
Napa Valley winery Cultivar Wine—which has 60 years of family history in California wine country—opened Cultivar Ghirardelli Square within the historic San Francisco landmark this February. Joining Cultivar San Francisco on Chestnut Street, the second location offers its premium wines with farm-to-table fare. With Fisherman’s Wharf as its backdrop, the new location has seating for nine at the indoor tasting counter, outdoor patio seating, and a high-top bar. Co-founder Jody Harris played an integral part in the design, which features an open indoor and outdoor tasting experience. The patio an seat up to 33 guests for dinner and accommodate up to 60 for a standing reception. The dining room can hold 20 seated or 45 standing, while the front deck can accommodate 20 seated or standing. A full buyout can seat 60 or accommodate 100 standing.

The Jay, an Autograph Collection Hotel
In November 2023, San Fran's Embarcadero neighborhood welcomed The Jay, an Autograph Collection Hotel. The iconic 360-room hotel boasts an outdoor rooftop terrace and a stunning dining outlet, The Third Floor, from the Omakase Restaurant Group. With interiors by the local San Francisco studio of award-winning global design firm AvroKO, the design embraces The Jay's brutalist exterior from noted architect John Portman. Guest rooms offer angled floor-to-ceiling windows, drawing in natural light and giving guests views of the Bay, Coit Tower, and downtown skyline. The property offers 13,000 square feet of meeting space across 16 meeting areas on two floors. Each meeting room is named after a San Francisco legend with a modern design that aims to tell that person's story. Banquet capabilities also include customizable menus featuring local ingredients.

Copra
Copra debuted last year near San Francisco's Japantown. The eatery specializes in the coastal cuisines of India's southernmost states, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, as well as the nearby island nation of Sri Lanka. Menu items aim to capture the vibrant flavors of this region, and the interior is accented with green plants, earthy pottery, and woven elements. There are two distinct spaces available for private events. The Greenhouse (pictured) is available for 30 seated or 35 standing and is enclosed with a canopy of macramé, separating the cozy space from the main dining room. The Mezzanine can seat 40 or accommodate 45 standing and is flexible in its seating arrangements, meaning it's ideal for a range of events like company dinners or milestone celebrations. The Mezzanine has its own dedicated bar and an independent sound system with AV, plus a sliding door that separates it from the main dining room downstairs. The restaurant is also available for a full buyout for 125 seated or 150 standing, which would include the two rentable spaces and the main dining room.

7 Adams
From acclaimed chef duo David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, 7 Adams opened in November 2023. Past the building’s historic Victorian façade is an interior that pays homage to San Francisco's postwar '50s and '60s eras, reflecting the city's maritime heritage as a bustling port. Nautical elements with a modern lens aim to evoke the image of a ship, including walnut paneling. In the ceiling and behind the bar, illuminated architectural recesses are shaped to mimic eroding boulders or passing clouds. Along the walls are white sconces reminiscent of billowing sails. Intimate tables are lit by mushroom lamps. The restaurant is available for full buyouts of up to 40 guests.
