A Perfect Event's repurposed vintage furniture

Debi Lilly, founder of A Perfect Event Inc., scours local flea markets and antique stores for vintage furniture, purchasing everything from Chesterfield sofas to Louis XV armchairs, zebra rugs, and Lucite coffee tables. Lilly describes her newly amassed collection of rentals as "Hollywood Regency and French Empire" style. In her company's full-service design studio, Lilly repurposes pieces to meet an event's aesthetic, adding trim, tassels, upholstery tacks, and modern twists (like white patent leather) to vintage items. In recent months, her furnishings have decorated events ranging from the Joffrey Ballet's Couture and Cocktails event at the Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti Gold Coast showroom to Planned Parenthood's Roe v. Wade 35th anniversary gala at the Ritz-Carlton.
