The creator of Delray Beach's Sopra, Gotham, and Shore, restaurateur David Manero has joined forces with Emmy-winner Danny DeVito and Michael Brauser to announce plans for a new Italian restaurant. Set to open in March, DeVito South Beach is a 10,000-square-foot venue in a renovated space that represents old-world Italian style using warm reds, greens, and whites. Materials range from Chicago brick walls to marble tabletops and imported Venetian chandeliers, along with a unique 85-light chandelier in the dining area. Guests may also enjoy the full-display theatrical kitchen. In addition to the 9,000-square-foot interior space, there will be several outdoor cabanas, an outdoor communal dining table, and an Italian-style porch providing an additional 1,000 square feet. The venue will also have a custom JBL sound system. For private events, the second-floor space, which seats 20 to 150 guests, can be reached by private street-side elevator.
