For the season three premiere party for Portlandia, IFC took over New York’s American Museum of Natural History and created quirky displays to match the show’s offbeat portrayal of Portland. The Monday night event included miniature scenes of Portlandians everyday activities in glass terrariums.

Caviar Dreams produced a pink-carpeted gala for Total Impact Resource Centers at the Penthouse at AT&T Center in Los Angeles on October 27. Candy-colored centerpieces sat atop crystal candelabras, and aqua-blue glassware popped against silver linens and Chiavari chairs.

The Breeders' Cup Opening Reception

The Breeders' Cup took over Santa Anita Park on November 2 and 3. Kicking off all the festivities was a reception at the mayor's residence, the Getty House, on Halloween night. BrownHot Events' masquerade-inspired design for the affair included giving the tables a dramatic look with tall black candlesticks and Chameleon chairs from Classic Party Rentals.

David Stark also created unique centerpieces for the 2018 Robin Hood benefit, also held at the Javits Center. The event, which had a “Lights of New York” theme, featured three-sided mini marquee centerpieces that offered messages of gratitude and celebrated the organization's anniversary.

In September, Blueprint Studios designed and produced the San Francisco Opera’s Centennial Celebration Gala. At the arrival reception and dinner, an indigo and goldenrod color palette found in the table linens and flatware was especially striking.
