The American Museum of the Moving Image's AMMI Salutes gala at the Waldorf=Astoria always promises a bevy of Hollywood stars who show up to fete the honoree (last year's was Julia Roberts), and this year was no different. AMMI celebrated the career of Mel Gibson, who enjoyed a star-studded night with some gorgeous centerpieces by Susan Edgar Design and lighting by Bestek Lighting and Staging. The rest of the eye-grabbing attention went to the honoree himself and celeb friends Danny Glover, Glenn Close, Jodie Foster, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and Gary Sinise.
