Each table displayed a custom-created, colorful bat centerpiece, enhanced by the use of ultraviolet light effects. The use of colorful décor and vibrant hues in the table linens supplied by Concept Bait and Panache also came aglow by the use of black lights and special effects devised by SHOWORKS and orchestrated by the venue's in-house lighting director Mark Miller. Honorary chair Wade Boggs along with other Major League Baseball players mingled with the crowd while Full Circle provided musical entertainment.
Á La Carte's on-premise culinary crew prepared a theme menu for the $225 a plate dinner. Simply titled "First Plate," "Second Plate" and "Third Plate" the choice cuisine featured such items as spice smoked salmon with cane sugar and a frozen chocolate gelato baseball in a chocolate-dipped waffle cone for dessert.
Surprise guest performers, Gunnar and Matthew Nelson—the twins once known as Nelson—collaborated with Full Circle and had partygoers up and dancing on a custom paint-splattered turquoise dance floor also constructed by SHOWORKS.
The festival continued the following day with more hits and great catches. There was an autograph show and signing at the Champs Sports at International Plaza and a Youth Baseball Clinic at a Clearwater sports complex. The weekend concluded with the Legends of Baseball Game—which featured Major League Baseball Players and Hollywood celebrities competing and participating with good humor against one another for charity. The location of the entertainment event showcased the new 7,000-seat Bright House Networks Field, Clearwater's new $28 million spring training facility.
