The Junior League of Boca Raton hosted the 20th annual Woman Volunteer of the Year award luncheon at the Boca Raton Resort and Club on October 26. It was an afternoon spent amongst friends and fashion, with 12 women viewing the stylish designs from a table fit for a king.
Michele Toomey and Amy Kazma of the Junior League turned to Fe Domenech at The Event Firm to bring to life their idea for a unique raffle prize-a fine-dining experience like none other. Winners got a V.I.P. view of the Saks Fifth Avenue Escada fashion show from a perch above the crowd at the elaborate chandelier table.The extraordinary table was placed on a raised platform and nestled under a canopy of silver crepe satin. Suspended from the peak of the custom silk canopy was a magnificent chandelier constructed and accented with flowers in dreamy shades of pink and cream. A multilevel centerpiece created from roses, hydrangeas, orchids, and calla lilies mimicked the shape and design of the ornate chandelier.
For the linens, Domenech chose silver dupioni silk with an embroidered organza topper. Atlas Party Rentals finished off the luxe look with glass place settings. Guests dining at the chandelier table not only enjoyed an unobstructed view of the show, but also feasted on Maine lobster, chocolate truffles, and vintage Champagne.
