At the Asian Art Museum’s annual gala, Got Light created a 96-foot-long LED tube chandelier with more than 200 tubes. The event, which celebrated art and technology, took place March 2 in San Francisco. Plus, interactive iPad centerpieces from Keep Interacting displayed table numbers, live auction items, and other program material for dinner guests.

London artist JGoldcrown created one of his signature heart-adorned paintings for a photo backdrop at the Republic Records pre-Grammy party, which was hosted in partnership with Cadillac, Barclays Center, and Ciroc at Cadillac House on January 26. Attendees included Lorde, Julia Michaels, Hailee Steinfeld, James Bay, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Hailee Baldwin, and others.

The restaurant Rock & Reilly’s Park City celebrated its sixth year at the festival with a daytime media lounge and nightly events January 19 to 24. Lounge sponsor J.Crew hosted a “Denim by You” customization bar, which invited guests to create their own denim looks with patches and custom calligraphy by illustrator Sam Teich.

NYC Pride’s second annual Pride Island music festival took place June 23 to 24 at Pier 97. MAC Cosmetics had a stage that featured a yellow, orange, and pink rainbow and different color blocks for dancers. Off to the sides of the stage were two makeup stations, where guests could get custom face painting and glitter makeovers. The activation was designed in-house, and the Joe Lewis Company built the set.Â

For this year’s event, Stoelt Productions ditched the traditional gala format, instead creating mini “studios” based on those at the Inner-City Arts campus so attendees could experience what the organization offers its students. The event was held at City Market Social House in Los Angeles in October.

In October, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Arsht Families hosted its children’s Imagination Ball. The afternoon event featured immersive activities and a light and dance show by iLuminate on the Lynn Wolfson Stage of the Ziff Ballet Opera House.





Ruinart Champagne transformed the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens on December 5 into an artistic space thanks to Liu Bolin, known as “the Invisible Man.” During the event, the artist was live painted and camouflaged into a colorful large-scale installation of Ruinart’s rounded bottles.
