Ocean Drive magazine co-hosted the cocktail event benefitting Operation Smile.

On March 13, philanthropists, doctors, and volunteers gathered at Joley Restaurant in the Hotel Astor to celebrate the opening of a new Operation Smile office in Miami. Operation Smile is a nonprofit organization that provides free reconstructive surgery to children with correctable facial deformities. The event was co-hosted by Ocean Drive magazine and Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr., and sponsored by VeeV liqueur, Belvedere Vodka, and Veuve Clicquot Champagne.
Executive chef John Suley prepared a selection of hors d'oeuvres for the cocktail party including sea scallop ceviche with vanilla, grapefruit, and chives; seared veal meatballs with truffle mushroom sauce; and mini smoked salmon croque monsieurs. While Suley kept guests fed, DJ Sean Drake was also on hand to keep them entertained.
Funds raised from ticket sales for the cocktail event and donations will be used to send doctors to developing nations on medical missions and to provide the surgeries pro bono.
