A high tech-looking display using 150 LED tiles served as the backdrop for the London premiere of the film Total Recall. For the August 16 event in Leicester Square, Premier PR designed an arrivals area that included a brightly lit stage backdrop where the movie’s stars posed for fans and the media, as well as a DJ booth. Audiovisual company XL Events supplied the FX-11 LEDs, which were chosen for their brightness in the outdoor setting. The stage used 128 of the vertical lights, while another 22 tiles fronted the DJ booth.
XL Events is the firm behind the projection mapping onto Buckingham Palace and the onstage wraparound LED screens and IMAG cameras for the Queen's Jubilee Concert stage this summer.
XL Events sourced and supplied the LED lights for the premiere, choosing the specific model for its brightness and suitability at outdoor events.
