1. KARDASHIAN'S BIG-MONEY WEDDING: From L.A. bureau chief Alice Dubin: Much has been made of the business side of Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kris Humphries this past Saturday in Montecito, California, with estimates for the total cost ranging as high as $20 million (although the family isn't paying). Although many details are being kept tightly under wraps for the event's big TV reveal on E! in October and in photos in People magazine, it was reported that Hansen's Cakes, Lehr & Black invitationers, Wolfgang Puck, and Classic Party Rentals were among the vendors. Planner Sharon Sacks, who also planned Khloe Kardashian's wedding to Lamar Odom, said—not surprisingly—that the Kardashian-Humphries event outdoes the royal nuptials as the wedding of the century:

Festivities, beginning at $500 per person, kick off Friday with opening ceremonies with cocktail parties, intimate dinners, and educational classes to follow.
