Open since early October, the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek is the newest hotel near Walt Disney World. The property includes 400 guest rooms and suites, more than 25,000 square feet of function space, a spa, and multiple dining facilities.
The main meeting area is located on the ground floor below the lobby. The 8,000-square-foot Ponce de Leon Ballroom can seat 580 or hold 800 for receptions. The smaller Journey Ballroom is suited for groups of around 200. The hotel has 200 ergonomic chairs that can be used in any of the meeting rooms.
On the 14th floor, the 300-square-foot Horizon Boardroom offers sweeping views of nearby Walt Disney World. The room has sliding doors that lead to a small balcony. Outdoor events can take place on the pool deck or at the Back Bay Bar and Grill; both overlook a 10-acre lake. The hotel has four additional restaurants, including Deep Blu Seafood Grille which specializes in steaks and seafood with seating for 152 and a private dining room for 30.
The Blue Harmony Spa has eight treatment rooms—two that are outside—and a lounge that offers a unique, tranquil setting for meetings or social events of as many as 20 people. In addition to standard services, the spa can create custom events for conference attendees, such as chair massages during breaks or workshops on topics such as relaxation and meditation.
The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek is located on the same property at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, a complex of six vacation ownership towers. Guests of the hotel can use the pools and amenities at each of those properties.
