The BizBash IdeaFest Los Angeles is next week, and, as a preview, here's a look at some of the products and exhibitors attendees will see on the show floor.
New apps and interactive technology
Several companies will be showcasing new tech tools for events and meetings. Watson Adventures will introduce its iPhone app designed to boost interaction for its scavenger hunts, while SmartHunts, the sister company to Best TeamBuilding & Corporate Events, will preview the new high-tech programs available through its proprietary app.
Social Tables is bringing what it's billing as the first gesture-controlled event check-in app to the show, a new product previously only available to select clients. Classy Event Group will have its photo graffiti wall, where digital spray cans can customize images, and Karaoke Reality will show off its video booth.
New decor and rentals tems
There will be plenty of new furniture, decor, and rental ideas, too. From the founders of NatureXhibits is Natures Rentals, a line of rentals that utilize living wall technologies including movable instant green hedging with different varieties for different looks and living wall hedging with vertical bands of succulents. Absolutely Fabulous Events and Productions is showcasing the new oversize letters and figures, 4- by 8-foot fabric pieces installed on lightweight aluminum frames.
New inventory items from Town & Country Event Rentals will be on display, including the modern industrial-style reclaimed wood and metal pieces of the Edison Furniture collection, a 12-foot-tall replica of the Eiffel Tower, and Union Jack-inspired seating. Cort will exhibit its new Napoleon collection—a modern take on French design—Lounge22 Arctic 5 chairs in wild white tiger and snow leopard prints, and G30 communal table designed for networking and socializing.
BBJ Linen will feature new table linens and chair covers, such as those using the Mercury Sequin fabric—a matte finish textile predominantly silver in color with coppery gold accents—and the Venus Sequin fabric, which is mostly gold in color with hints of copper.
New entertainment and catering ideas
Haute Mobile Disco is debuting its new mobile DJ service with sets from DJ duo Aubrey and Michelle as well as Cory Biggs, while Modern Bite will present the latest designs in its Designer Tile cookies and new flavors like espresso bean and lemon thyme.
