Introducing the Redesigned BizBash.com

The new configuration of BizBash.com allows the site to be viewable on mobile devices as well as desktop computers.

Bb Responsive Herobox02

This week we're excited to show off a new look for BizBash.com, a revamp designed to make it easier for you to browse and find stories, ideas, and resources for events, business entertaining, meetings, and trade shows. So what's in it for you?

Responsive design: Forget zooming in to read tiny type—the new responsive design of BizBash.com means you can see stories and resources more clearly, whether you're on the go and using your smartphone or tablet, or in the office at your computer.

Easier navigation: Searching for creative hors d'oeuvres ideas? Looking for a venue in Dallas to host a fund-raiser? Need a company to build an app for your next conference? Now you can find what you need from the navigation bar, which sits on the top of every page. You can also get more information on the BizBash expos, magazines and newsletters, and tools like Masterplanner. We've also changed the look of the slide shows so that on mobile devices you can scroll between photos just by swiping the screen; you can also click to view the thumbnails and go directly to the image you want to see.

Find ideas faster: We know you're busy, running around scouting venues, setting up for an event, traveling, and such, so you need an easier—and mobile-friendly—way to search for that new registration tool or see what sponsors did at Super Bowl parties. That's why we've simplified the way our stories are organized. Now, in addition to seeing the latest articles on the homepage, you can browse by topic directly from the navigation bar.

Planning a benefit? Check out our section for fund-raising ideas or see what other nonprofits have done recently in our coverage of benefits and fund-raisers across North America. Want to see how innovative industry professionals are using wearable technology or what advice experts like Gary Vaynerchuk have for event and meeting planners? Take a look through the stories here and here. Plus, you can always find other stories via the tags on the bottom of every story.

We're still tinkering with the new look and the navigation, and will have more updates soon. If you find anything that doesn’t quite work—or that you think we can improve—please email us at [email protected].

So go on, take a look.
