Jen Ridder
The St. Vincent DePaul Center recently hired Jen Ridder for the newly created position of director of annual fund and special events. After leaving a four-year position as the development coordinator at the Children's Place Association, Ridder assumes her new post today. She will be in charge of planning and managing annual fund solicitation for the nonprofit, which provides child care for the working class of Chicago and outreach to the homeless and elderly.
As director, Ridder will oversee St. Vincent's annual black-tie fund-raising gala, the Fleur de Lis ball, as well as smaller events for its associate board group and young professionals board.
