This Friday, More opens in the Gold Coast. Billed as a cupcake salon, the bakery specializes in both sweet and savory treats created by consulting pastry chef Gale Gand—a James Beard Award-winner—and executive pastry chef Todd Maturatai. Exotic cupcake flavors run the gamut from pink grapefruit to Madras curry and barbecue peach. There are also more traditional offerings like red velvet, as well as milk and dark chocolate. Discounts are available for planners who order in bulk, and the small retail space, which features a glass-enclosed wall of cupcakes, holds 15 for dessert-and-champagne receptions.
