Industry Party Raises $15K for Charity

With 600-plus attendees, 37 sponsors, nine participating not-for-profit associations, and numerous events that raised more than $15,000 for the Majic Children's Fund: 102.7 FM charity, the 2006 South Florida Rock'n Roll'n Industry Holiday Party was clearly a success. The event took place at Spirits Nightclub in the Paradise section of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Thursday, December 7, 2006. All the participating sponsors—a list that included 11 caterers (four specializing in dessert catering), 10 entertainment/sound/power companies, four providers of decor/rentals/furniture/lighting/drape, four give-away companies, three Web development/registration companies, one liquor supplier, one photographic studio, one venue, and one charity, along with official media sponsor BiZBashFla—brought something to the party. Jamie Oristano of Quest Drape Miami was the event's producer.
