Chocolatier Alejandra Bigai launched a new line of top-quality chocolates, the Aphrodite Collection (305.854.9936, www.romanicoschocolate.com). Named for the Greek goddess of love, the treats are unique in that they're infused with natural aphrodisiacs. Inside, one might find fillings such as amaretto, orange brandy and ginger, and even a kick of cayenne pepper. Romanicos Chocolate, Bigai's Miami shop, also carries handmade butter-free truffles—a mere 38 calories each—and a "tropical collection" that features mango, passion fruit, and pineapple jam-filled chocolates decorated with a tropical fish design to capture the spirit of South Florida. Bigai can also create customized souvenir boxes for any event or occasion.
