Dwyane Wade-who led Team USA to victory over Spain in this year's Summer Olympics in Beijing by scoring 27 points to nab the country's first gold medal in the event since 2000-celebrated the win by hosting a white-and-gold-themed event at Nikki Marina on Saturday. The celebration kicked off the team's official homecoming with partygoers decked out in the theme colors, plus a touch of red.
Guests mingled outside near the docks while waiting to catch a glimpse of the All-Star player and evening's host. As the celebration moved indoors to an all-white setting festooned with fresh lilies in clear vases and rows of delicate tea-light candles along the center bars, revelers quickly began making use of the spacious dance floor, moving to the tunes of DJ Top Feelin and DJ Griot. Guests trickled in and out of the cabana-style V.I.P. section behind the dance floor, where cocktail waitresses in gold and white sequins served the venue's signature champagne with sparklers in the bottles.
An assortment of cirque performers from Aerial Artistry, including a pair of minotaur characters on stilts, mixed and mingled with partygoers. Additionally, professional break-dancers added to the revelry on the dance floor.
Wade arrived late into the party by way of a white yacht that docked at the marina and carried along with it additional partygoers to celebrate the team win. He then was escorted down a red rose-petal strewn walkway to the V.I.P. section by two models dressed as goddesses while guests cheered.
