The Strip, an 8,000-square-foot burlesque nightclub, opened in March on Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road, in the former O Asian Grill and Rumi space. The bilevel club can accommodate as many as 425 among its multiple themed areas with live entertainment nightly.
The first floor can host 150 people and is anchored by an expansive gilded bar with a large truss system supporting the main stage. The walls are covered with gold tufted upholstery and framed mirrors and lined with deep blue, purple, and gold banquettes and ottomans.
The second floor can be separated into four spaces for semiprivate events or as V.I.P. areas. The gray and black room above the entrance has a private bar, two dancer poles, banquette seating, and can host 120. There’s also a sunken seating area for 16, with direct views of the stage. Red banquettes and cocktail tables sit opposite the floor’s main bar and DJ booth.
Further back, the green room has green and brown leather banquettes and ottomans. The space has a private gilded bar for parties of 75 and provides access to the glass-enclosed V.I.P. room. The room can host 16 and is outfitted with faux-fur banquettes, brown leather club chairs, and two flat-screen TVs.
The 900-square-foot stage over the first floor's main bar is flush with the second level and has nightly burlesque performances. The area can also be used as a dance floor or DJ space for private events.
