The American Folk Art Museum has moved to a more spacious location in Midtown. Formerly headquartered at Lincoln Center, the museum now has new digs with seven floors that include galleries, a library and an auditorium. The space has a simple, functional design with artwork displayed on light gray stone walls and open stairwells. In-house caterer Canard Inc. can serve food and drinks on the first floor atrium and mezzanine level, which boasts a balcony overlooking the first floor; together the areas can hold 250 for cocktails and 100 for sit-down receptions. Event planners can reserve the museum in four-hour time blocks. --Jill Musguire
