The juggling bear statues will be gone, replaced by golf clubs and a shrine to Tiger Woods when the U.S. Golf Association takes over the space that housed the Russian Tea Room. According to Crain's New York, the association bought the space for $16 million three months after LeRoy Adventures—the company headed by the late Warner LeRoy's daughter Jennifer, which also operates Tavern on the Green—declared bankruptcy and closed the restaurant. The USGA will turn the exotic restaurant into a museum and history center devoted to golf.
