You might have heard about the Bruno Jamais Restaurant Club, the private space opened by the former maitre d' of Daniel and Alain Ducasse that charges $7,000 membership fees for the privilege of dining there. It recently opened its doors for special events, and offers a few options for those who want a venue just a stone's throw from the Met (it hosted a small after-party following this year's Costume Institute gala). A private dining room in the basement level seats 14, a back room on the second floor seats 35, and the entire restaurant can seat 75 or hold 250 for cocktails. —Suzanne Ito
