New Bakery Has Handsome Glass Accents

E6424152
This new patisserie from Venezuelan pastry chef brothers Morris and Ronald Harrar opened at the end of June in a two-story, 1,800-square-foot, Rockwell Group-designed retail space. Tisserie’s interior is done up in butter, umber, and chocolate colors, and floor-to-ceiling oak and glass cases display freshly made food. The 30-seat mezzanine level has comfortable bench seating upholstered in burgundy-colored silk. Decorative backlit, hand-blown, Venetian glass panels on the ceiling and walls match the tall chandelier that hangs over the curving staircase.—Francine Cohen
