Getting Groups Together for North Fork Wine Excursions

Swirl Events, which specializes in group wine tastings and tours, has put together a new program that takes participants to wineries on the North Fork of Long Island. Well suited to summer associates, clients, or staff, these tours allow guests to listen to winemakers, explore vineyards, and try chocolate and wine pairings, or partake in barrel tastings. The excursions usually stop at three or four wineries, and include a Swirl tour guide, who will discuss the Long Island wine region. Boxed lunches are included, and transportation to and from Manhattan is via luxury motor coach. Packages can be customized to include private dinners or visits to sustainable vineyards, for example. Pricing starts at $135 per person.
