On March 26, the Lycée Français de Chicago hosted its annual gala at the Intercontinental Chicago. Inspired by 1920s Paris, the gala's "Le Hot Jazz" theme came to life with a seven-piece jazz ensemble, costumed dancers, and centerpieces sporting flapper-style accessories.
Housed in sleek black vases strung with long strands of pearls, the flower arrangements contained green hydrangeas, orange tulips, and red amaryllis blossoms. Stacy Lorin and Magda Ciela, both parents of Lycée students, designed the centerpieces. In the days prior to the event, the women carefully nursed the blooms in order to bring them to blossom in time for the gala.
