The National Stationery Show is an annual showcase of paper goods attended by more than 11,000 retailers, marketers, importers, and distributors looking for the newest invitations, greeting cards, and related gift products from boutique designers and larger companies. It's also an excellent way for event planners to get a glimpse at the trends the industry will be seeing with invitations and collateral in the upcoming months.
The 67th National Stationery Show ran from May 18 to 21 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, where more than 800 stationery exhibitors showcased their latest designs. From gold foil stamping and blind impressions, to intricate laser-cut paper and hand-drawn illustrations, here are the top design trends spotted on the trade show floor.
