Charles Khabouth, owner of the Guvernment/Koolhaus Entertainment Complex and Ultra Supper Club, opened his latest venture, Lux, in January. Designed by Munge Leung Design Associates, the stylish nightclub features a retro dining area with white tables and white chairs with green cushions, juxtaposed with a denlike lounge featuring 70's black leather couches and a cowhide-trimmed fireplace. The look is completed by a pair of pony-hair chairs. A white wood bar with modern stools and a floor-to-ceiling wine rack is positioned between the two spaces. Chef Jonathan Lucas specializes in urban comfort food, such as stone baked pizza and prime strip loin. Lux has an indoor seating capacity of 150, plus patio seating for 20. The cost to rent the venue starts at $500.—Robyn Small
