A decade after Guy Starkman opened Guy’s Bar in West Hollywood—a space that attracts a stylish, young Hollywood crowd and takes lots of entertainment-related event bookings—he opened its San Fernando Valley cousin Guy’s North in Studio City in January. The new space has 10,000 square feet, including a screening facility, audiovisual equipment, projectors, and an array of LCD and plasma TVs. The front room, bordering Ventura Boulevard, features a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows and ottomans in shiny red and chocolate brown. Downstairs, chocolate brown leather sofas tone down bright red walls. —Alesandra Dubin
