For the cocktail hour at the Children's Leukemia Foundation's Michael awards benefit at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Joel Katz's Prestige Caterers set out a nice spread of fresh fruit and crudites, and baskets made of black wire and wicker contained some crunchy, tasty chips made of sweet potatoes, taro, parsnips and beets. The table was nicely decorated with shimmery linens, and wrought iron candle holders contained large pillar candles that gave off a warm glow in the dark cocktail area.
The event gathered a crowd of fashion and entertainment industry guests, including Sigourney Weaver, Cheryl Tiegs, Denise Rich and Access Hollywood host Pat O'Brien, who was honored by the CLF with the "Best Dressed Man of the Year" award.

At the Children's Leukemia Foundation's Michael awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Joel Katz's Prestige Caterers provided pretty candlelit buffet tables laden with fresh fruit and sweet potato, beet, parsnip and taro chips.

One of a Kind Flowers provided the floral centerpieces.

Among the event's celebrity guests were Sigourney Weaver (left) and Cheryl Tiegs.

The stage was a simple black set washed in white light.
