Bravo celebrated the premiere of its new docu-series Miami Social with a socialite-filled cocktail party last night at Louis nightclub inside the Gansevoort South hotel, the cast’s regular hangout. “The show filmed a lot at the Gansevoort, so it was the perfect place to celebrate the launch,” said Rachelle Savoia, director of publicity for Bravo.
The club’s two gold-framed LCD TVs ran a loop of the first episode of the show, which will debut on Bravo Tuesday, while Bravo added 30 gold pillows with the company logo to the sofas throughout the club. Eggwhites Special Event Catering provided hors d'oeuvres such as imported cheeses, crudités, and shrimp cocktail platters.
The cast members, including fashion show producer Ariel Stein and Hardy Hill, C.E.O. of nightlife promoting company Hill Hospitality Group, walked the red carpet for local media such as The Miami Herald and NBC affiliate WTVJ.
The invite-only party brought together 250 guests, including co-host of Plum TVs Plum Presents Summer Season Julia Dykstra and model Cindy Taylor, who is filming a new show for Fox, Work of Genius, in Miami this summer.
DJ John Cash provided the soundtrack for the evening, mixing '90s favorites with hip-hop and pop until the party wrapped around 11 p.m.
