When your name is In Style, your party decor had better make a strong impression. For its gala at the Windsor Arms Hotel during the Toronto International Film Festival, the celebrity lifestyle magazine wowed guests with massive arrangements of roses spilling out of large, uplit copper bowls. Cyd Wilson, In Style director of creative development, worked with Spinning Top Events & Promotions to plan the fete for the Hollywood Foreign Press. Frank Rea, president of Forget Me Not, supplied the florals. Other decor highlights included chandeliers from in the guest check-in tents and mirrored cocktail tables with strands of dangling crystals from Contemporary Furniture Rentals in the lounge area. The event marked the sixth year in a row In Style has hosted a TIFF party at the Windsor Arms. Wilson said the magazine always uses the venue's moneyed, old-world decor as its starting point when creating the party's look.
